We are happy and proud to announce that Jack Goessen's personal film Everyman will have its International premiere at the 45th edition of Frameline - the San Francisco International LGBTQ+ Film Festival!
The festival
The festival runs from June 10-27th and Everyman will be screening in the Up Close & Personal shorts program on Sunday, June 20, 2021 at 9:00 PM PDT.
Jack will be introducing the film from (probably) rainy Scotland to sunny San Francisco!
The film
Everyman is a 10 minute, personal, visual essay about gender transition – focusing on the social context and implications and exploring how the world is different living as female compared to being perceived as male.
The story
Jack tells his story by using and reframing gender focused tropes and imagery from popular culture, mythology, history and art.
A queer cast display different aspects of Jack's life and identity, mirroring his experience from his unique point of view.
